After years of fostering, rescuing, and advocating for cats in our community, we dreamed of creating something special...a space where both people and cats could truly relax and connect. That dream is becoming a reality with Whiskers & Biscuits Cat Lounge, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit built around one simple idea: cats thrive when they feel safe, loved, and free.

     At Whiskers & Biscuits, our cats will live in a stress-free, cage-free environment, where they can roam, play, nap and interact with visitors. Every cat in the lounge will be fully vetted, socialized and available for adoption, giving them the best chance to find their forever home. We will be partnering with local rescues and Amarillo Animal Management and Welfare (as a "foster home") to give more cats a second chance-and all adoption fees go to the partnering rescues to support their ongoing lifesaving work.

     When guests visit the lounge, they'll get to unwind with a complimentary drink and snack while spending time with our adoptable cats. It's a cozy, feel good experience that brings people and pets together in the best possible way.

     We'll also host events like Yoga with Cats, Painting with Cats, Trivia and Game Nights, a Summer Reading

Program for Kids, etc...fun community-centered ways to support our mission while surrounded by furry felines.

     A small entry fee helps us cover essential costs such as rent, food, litter, and utilities, allowing us to focus on what truly matters: giving cats a safe haven, helping them find forever families, and spreading a little joy throughout our community.
